नियम (1) Generally किसी Noun के अंत में ‘s’ जोड़कर Plural number बनाया जाता हैं।

Rule (12) Generally singular compound nouns के main word में “s”जोड़कर Plural बनाया जाता हैं।

RULE (13) कुछ Nouns का प्रयोग हमेशा Plural Form में ही रहता है इन Nouns के अंत में लगे ‘S’ को हटाकर ,इन्हें Singular नहीं बनाया जा सकता है ये दिखने में भी Plural लगते है और इनका प्रयोग भी Plural की तरह होता है ऐसे Nouns निम्न है ;
EX- Alms, amends, annals, goggles, wages
Note(1) कुछ ऐसे Nouns हैं जिनका प्रयोग हमेशा singular noun के रूप में होता है।
ex – Advice, bread, butter, chalk, dust, Electricity, food, equipment, furniture, health, traffic, baggage, breakage, drainage, garbage, heritage, homage, luggage, percentage, postage, jewellery , machinery, poetry, scenery, stationery, pottery, music, Liberty, technology, maintenance, safety, rubbish, parking ,smoking, status etc
Note(2) कुछ Noun देखने में plural लगते हैं लेकिन वह singular होते हैं।
Ex– News, summons, economics, politics, statics, ethics, mathematics, physics, civics, genetics, athletics, Cattle, Alms, pyjamas , pants, Annals, Clothes, Tools, Binoculars, shears(कैची), Vegetables, thanks, assets(पूजी), Seals, upstairs, Shoes, Socks, curds, Handcuffs, Savings, Congratulations ,Troops ,Tongs(चिमटा), Scales(तराजू), sheep, deer, gentry, poultry, folk, people, police, cavalry, infantry, peasantry, clergy, excreta, insignia, tenantry, admiralty, nobility, yeomanry, etc ये। Nouns हमेशा plural में होते है।
